Agriculture has a major impact on our planet. Seventy percent of the world’s drinking water is used in agriculture, and the methods for producing food depend on the health of the soil, forests and many other ecosystems, including those in the sea.

Today, food production contributes more to climate change than all transportation combined. At the same time, agriculture is one of the sectors affected the most by climate change.
